PYAP Imus Chapter Officers Meet with A-Star Foundation Inc. CEO

Officers of PYAP Imus Chapter met with Ms. Stella Acedera, CEO of A-Star Foundation, Inc. to present their projects for the remaining months of 2010.  The meeting was held in Alapan 1A, Imus, Cavite on August 21, 2010 2:00PM to 5:00 PM.  Also present in the meeting were Ms. Cristina H. Viegan, RSW; Mr. Juriel T. Fabito, Advisers of PYAP Imus Chapter; Ms. Michelle Mabinis, Mr. Christopher Diaz, and Ms. Susan Maligro, PYAP Imus Chapter Youth Coordinators.

Some of the 2010 projects of the group include:

1)  Medical Mission
2)  Sports Development Projects
3)  Oplan Linis Barangay
4)  Family Day
5)  Mass Feeding
6)  Seminar on Disaster Preparedness
7)  Seminar on Illegal Drugs Awareness and Prevention
8)  Youth Camp
9)  Reactivation of Inactive PYAP-barangay segments
10)  Year-end Fellowship

Ms. Acedera encouraged the group to continue spreading and practicing the vision and mission of PYAP, as organized by A-Star Foundation, Inc. in Imus, Cavite.

Ms. Viegan committed to support all the projects of the group; while Mr. Fabito presented to the group the positive feedback he received from other youth organizations regarding the activities of the group for the past years.

Mr. Christopher Diaz on his part presented to the group what they have accomplished to make PYAP the most active youth organization in the municipality; while Ms. Michelle Mabinis encouraged the officers to continue to reach out to inactive members and to update them of the group's 2010 plan of activities.

PYAP Imus Chapter Members in Anabu 2C Elect New Officers for 2010

Members of PYAP Imus Chapter in Anabu 2C elected new set of officers for their barangay for the year 2010. Ms Tina Viegan, RSW and Mr. Juriel Fabito, Advisers of PYAP Imus Chapter together with Youth Coordinator Mr Cris Diaz facilitated the election.

Before the election, Ms. Viegan gave a short talk on the objectives of PYAP Imus Chapter, Mr. Fabito on the role of the Officers, and Mr. Cris Diaz on the projects of the organization for 2010.

PYA Imus Municipal Officers Oath-taking

The PYA Imus Municipal elected Officers led by President-elect Jeffrey H. Viegan took oath as new officers of PYA Imus Chapter. Ms. Cristina Viegan, RSW; Imus Vice-Mayor Mandy Ilano and A-Star Foundation, Inc. CEO Ms. Stella Acedera graced the event. Sports materials were also distributed after the program for PYA's Summer Youth sportsfest.
